The Underground is a leading theme in B+K’s spatial scheme where reality is a reflection and reflection a reality . Descending to the heart of Mr. Porter is falling through the rabbit hole: a copper door on street level reveals nothing of the world awaiting behind it . a seamless monochromatic welcome foyer reveals a spiral stair : the descent begins.
Down under the streets of Mayfair the earthy copper prevails; mirror polished and honed as ceiling, dressed or bare as furniture, its soothing color and textures dance sensually with velvets and wood , natural stone and grazing lights to the sound of hi-fidelity .
