Marble & Rose – refined hospitality furnishing in a historic interior

Marble & Rose in Budapest blends the elegance of bourgeois heritage with the expectations of contemporary hospitality in a distinctive and intimate atmosphere. Original marble fireplaces, rosewood details and gilded ceiling features provide a strong historical backdrop to the space.

The furnishing concept was developed with respect for this legacy. Key selection criteria included exceptional comfort, high durability suited to intensive use, and a timeless contemporary design language, complemented by a restrained yet confident touch of extravagance. The statement lounge elements introduce character, while the centrally positioned curved sofa enhances circulation and spatial focus, creating a natural gathering point within the room.

In the dining area, long-term seating comfort and durability were primary considerations. The table concept is intentionally composed of three separate elements: designed to function primarily as one large central table, while also allowing for flexible configurations when required. This modular approach offers greater versatility within the space while maintaining an elegant and cohesive appearance. The use of wood introduces warmth and refinement, while centrally positioned bases ensure practical and comfortable seating.

At Marble & Rose, furnishing is not merely a functional decision but a deliberate shaping of atmosphere — connecting past and present within a high-quality hospitality environment.
