was created to reflect the identity of Island as pioneering and complex problem solvers in the realm of client security.

At the client’s request, Roy David Studio was tasked to design a space that doesn’t reflect a typical office setting, but rather a place disconnected from its outside surroundings; a removed space that encourages inward reflection in order to inspire creative thought. We took this as a point of departure, juxtaposing the warm Mediterranean coast and surrounding urban environment with a tranquil and sophisticated palette.
Our point of departure was creating an experience that reflects the idea of a system; a strong series of joints that connect multiple layers.
The space exhibits unique unions of materials, colors, and textures that weave through moments of exposure and privacy. The result is a space that acts as an incubator of creative thought and collaboration, while balancing both its exterior context and interior conditions.
