Danubius Hotel Arena – Characterful Lobby Spaces and Cohesive Interior Design

Within the communal areas of Danubius Hotel Arena, the focus was placed on creating a contemporary hotel experienceand a well-functioning, versatile interior environment. Warm wood surfaces, bold colour contrasts, and softer curved forms work together throughout the lobby and lounge areas, shaping a space that feels both open and welcoming.

During the project, Basic Collection supplied a defining selection of the hotel’s lobby furniture and decorative accessories. The various lounge chairs, dining chairs, tables, and communal furniture pieces were carefully selected to support the rhythm and functionality of the interior, accommodating everything from short meetings to longer, more relaxed stays. Decorative vases and accessories subtly complement the visual identity of the space, further reinforcing the cohesive character of the interior.

The colour palette and forms of the furniture play an important role in creating the dynamic atmosphere of the space. Deep green and terracotta tones, combined with lighter neutral elements, create a warm yet contemporary aesthetic. The different functional zones connect naturally, allowing the lobby to remain clear, comfortable, and visually distinctive at the same time.
