The new Crowne Plaza Budapest,

which is a hotel brand that belongs to the IHG Hotels & Resorts Group, officially opened on Wednesday, is aimed primarily at business travellers and those who want to attend business events.
Crowne Plaza Hotel has more than 420 properties in 60 countries around the world. In total, they operate 120,000 rooms and plan to open 100 new hotels.

During the so-called soft opening period of the property, which has 230 rooms and 13 function
rooms, only the two floors completed in the first phase of the renovation can be booked, in addition
to this, the lobby and a café can be used. The whole building will be ready by the end of December,
when it will be able to welcome Hungarian and foreign guests at full capacity and events will be able
to start from then.
Co-working spaces are also available in the lobby. The next phase of the renovation will include a
fitness centre, several event spaces, a ballroom and a large rooftop restaurant.
