STORY

The initial concept of the architects was to create a connection between the building and the external environment and be inspired by the materials and elements found in the landscape. To achieve this, we suggested to use a mixture of bar stools and chairs from the TEA product family that created dynamics and a certain continuity within the restaurant and the cocktail bar areas which are joined under one attic. We also suggested that the chosen seating furniture should mainly have low backs to maximise the comfort of the guests, as we realised they would be spending a significant amount of time seated. The suggested finishes applied to the products - white, blue, yellow, orange colours and the wooden textures - seemed to well translate the materials found in the surrounding landscape, into products: the water, the sky, the sun and the wood.
