Design wonders, new arrivals, our favourites from Milan
Learn more
Milan once again transformed into the capital of design as the gates of Salone del Mobile and Milan Design Week opened.
Our team spent two inspiring days exploring the exhibitors and showrooms, experiencing firsthand the latest trends in furniture design.
We have gathered the most exciting moments and defining directions from the fair and design week that will shape interior design trends for this year.
Reimagined Classic Forms and Bold Textures
This year’s exhibitions clearly showed a shift towards cleaner, yet exciting and characterful designs. Curved silhouettes, sculptural table legs, and richly crafted surfaces were everywhere.
The fusion of geometric and organic shapes within the same piece brought a tactile richness to the designs. Particularly captivating were the creative material combinations — the meeting of powder-coated metals and natural wood — blending modern elegance with handcrafted detail.
Vibrant Tones and Natural Shades
The color palette did not disappoint this year either: coral, terracotta, vivid yellow, and green tones brought explosive energy to the spaces.
At the same time, natural earth tones — beige, taupe, sand, and various shades of brown — made a strong return, in line with the color of the year and current fashion trends.
While pastel shades remained dominant in outdoor collections, deeper, earthy tones and the many nuances of brown took over indoor spaces.
This year’s color choices once again built on emotional resonance and the feeling of comfort and home.
Innovative Technology and Craftsmanship
The intersection of technological innovation and meticulous craftsmanship was more prominent than ever.
New eco-friendly materials emerged, such as outdoor-appropriate bouclé fabrics, ultra-thin high-strength surfaces, and innovative magnetic cushion attachment solutions.
Surfaces manufactured through sustainable production processes also stood out, offering both sensory experience and durability.
Natural wood, ceramics, metal, and their exciting combinations continued to dominate, blending modern aesthetics with practical functionality.
